Review Of The Rutland Drive April 2021

The first drive of the season could have been sold three times over! It was wonderful to meet so many new members joining in with our Club. Equally wonderful to catch up with old friends.

Eighteen drivers brought their beautiful vehicles, ranging from a vintage Aston GT to Mclaren 720 S and everything in between. The route went from Bradgate Park to Belvoir Castle, south to Rutland Water and west to Café Ventoux. We were having so much fun we arrived a little late at Café Ventoux in time for brunch with the emphasis on ‘unch!

Covid restrictions meant we had three lead cars and thanks should go to a couple of club members for stepping up and taking the responsibility to lead a group of cars.

Going forward we are looking to develop the number of members who are happy to take on the lead car responsibility to ensure that we don’t lose anyone along the way.

We have some wonderful photographs and a short video all of which are accessible via the link below.

Many thanks to those who signed up to the drive. Don’t forget to look on the website for upcoming and exciting events.
